Gentle Revolution and Night of Theaters

Today's student body, like that of 35 years ago, actively and critically reflects on our present. 

Do we see parallels here? 

Come to the Academy of Performing Arts on Zochova Street for the premiere of the portable happening BREAD AND SALT, with the ambition of traveling around Slovakia under the banner of Students for Open Culture!

An anonymous Slovak leaving a country he is ashamed of and Godot or what we have all been waiting for. The impossibility of living in peace stemming from constant ex-internal unrest. An identity that cannot be shaken off the back like a crumb.

Attachment to conflict//the struggle for the sustainability of the state, human contact, or tradition. 

Warning: random passersby will be taken advantage of. 

During the happening, we will use video mapping at the building of the Faculty of Music and Dance of the Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts to remind us of the events of that time with newsreels from November 1989. 

Afterwards, we invite everyone to student performances as part of the Night of Theaters.
