The Labiatko production is a specific format known as a batolarium. It combines interactive theatrical elements with drama and offers children their first encounter with theater in an environment that is natural, safe, and stimulating for them. 

In developed countries, theater performances, concerts, operas, and museum visits are a common part of cultural life for toddlers. In Slovakia, this concept is still in its infancy, although research by psychologists and foreign experience confirm that the first three years of a child's life are crucial for their development, value setting, and building a relationship with culture and art. 

Young children will not consciously remember the content of a performance, but the positive feeling from spending time with a parent or accompanying person can significantly influence their future relationship with culture.

Information for viewers

• The performance takes place in an intimate and cozy space created under the stage of the Vajnorská Cultural Center to ensure the greatest possible safety and accessibility for children.

• The space is adapted to the arrival of our youngest viewers. There will be a place to park strollers, a changing table, potties and children's toilet seats available.

• You don't have to worry that your children's loud reactions will disturb the actresses during the performance - we are prepared for them. Laughter, words, babbling and sometimes even crying are natural expressions of emotions and we want children to be able to express them freely. However, we ask adults to talk as little as possible during the performance, as it is the voices of adults that can disturb the young audience in perceiving the performance.

• We thank you in advance for not eating or taking photos during the performance. After the performance, there will be plenty of space for group photos and memories.

• Recommendation: Since the performance takes place on a soft play area on the ground, we recommend that both young and old spectators come wearing socks and comfortable long pants.

The interactive show is suitable for children from 6 months to 3 years old. 

Tickets in the amount of €8 must be purchased for both an accompanying adult and a child.
