Harmony through dialogue. Art in cultural mediation.

The beginning: 16. 8. 2025 | 13:30 h

The place: House of Music

Address: Georgievits Palace, Panenská 11., Bratislava

Organizer: Elena Zenkovich ENGECON

The workshop project is based on the Confucian philosophy of harmony, which helps achieve internal and external balance through conscious management of emotions.

Five principles of harmony:

1. Humanity and empathy – the ability to understand and respect the feelings of others.

2. Justice and morality – decision-making based on virtues and ethics.

3. Etiquette and rituals – following communication norms to maintain harmony.

4. Wisdom and awareness – controlling emotions through knowledge and reflection.

5. Sincerity and trust – honesty in expressing emotions and interactions.

These principles help prevent conflicts, develop a culture of dialogue, and strengthen emotional balance.

The project consists of three interactive workshops combining mediation, conflict prevention, the art of dialogue, and art therapy.

Each workshop offers space for development and the joy of creativity:

– communication skills and emotion management – through interactive exercises,

– calligraphy and other traditional Chinese arts as a path to concentration and self-expression,

– musical and physical activities – singing, dancing and rhythmic exercises to promote harmony of body and soul.

The workshops are designed for both young people and adults, with content adapted to the age group of the participants. Participants will gain practical skills in conflict resolution, communication development and expressing their ideas through art. Visualization and artistic activities will help them overcome barriers and strengthen their identity.

Ticket sales will start on July 16, 2025.
