Freedom Festival – Gentle Saturday in Šafek

Freedom Festival will bring a day full of music, art and shared energy to the center of Bratislava on Saturday. Tender Saturday in Šafek will combine music, visual art and a community atmosphere into one all-day program, in which freedom becomes an experience. Klub Šafko will open its doors in the morning and offer a space where different musical styles and generations will take turns during seven hours. The musical program will be provided by: DJ WhiteWolf, DJ BooBoo, Laura Plis

Line-up

11.00 – Doors open

11.30 – DJ White Wolf – the youngest performer at the Freedom Festival, only 11 years old DJ, who has been DJing for 1,5 years. He studies at the Mäsokombinát DJ Room in Bratislava under the guidance of DJs Andee and C:rcle and plays tech house and drum & bass styles.

1:30 PM – DJ BooBoo – a fixture of the Slovak drum & bass scene with more than fifteen years of history, brings a combination of deep & soulful sound

15.30 – Laura Plis – Techno with intense groove and strong energy

During the day party, visitors will also be able to see international exhibition of cartoon humor "Sneezing Brain", dedicated to freedom of thought and freedom of expression. 

The exhibition will present works by world-class authors who reflect on social events through humor, caricature, and satire, showing that art can also address serious topics of today with ease and perspective. Cartoon humor, as a visual language, combines entertainment with thoughtfulness and develops the ability to "read between the lines."
