Bratislava, 21. 7. – The city walls are one of the scenes of the Bratislava Cultural Summer. This Saturday, 23. 7., visitors to this exceptional space with a specific atmosphere will be treated to a varied program prepared by the Bratislava Cultural and information center (BKIS).
Program for the little ones
When the book Gerda – the story of a whale was published in 2018, it immediately captivated not only children but also parents. The engaging and instructive story about a little whale named Gerda, who finds herself alone in the ocean, where she meets many friends, is complemented by beautiful illustrations by Adrián Macha. The stage reading at 15:00 PM, performed by actor Róbert Švec, is also based on Gerda's story, and he will also play the ukulele.
Naughty, conceited and capricious. That's Princess Frmfulina in the story from the Jaja Theatre. Children can watch the story, which will not be missing a scary dragon or a magical fairy, at 16:00 p.m.
Music concerts
On Saturday evening, talented Slovak musicians will fill the city walls with music.
Fans of jazz, soul and French chanson will find their groove during the concert of the charming musician and actress Andrea Bučko at 18:00 PM.
You can get to know the work of young Slovak musician Erik Žigmund, known as Erø, who combines pop, folk and jazz in his personal lyrics, at 19:00 PM.
Fans of electronic music with elements of punk will be delighted by the final concert of the popular DJ Future Sound of Petržalka at 20:00 PM.
