On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, in The concert hall of St. Clare was heldčyou are welcomež traditionalčne zátruečná promócia with new guides of Bratislava. They received the certificate of successful completion of the course from the hands of the director of BKIS Katarína Hulíková and the professional guarantor of the course Ján Vyhnánek. During the 67-year history, hundreds of guides have completed their studies.
The tourist guide course, accredited by the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic, is the oldest of its kind in Slovakia. It was founded in 1958 and is the only one that specifically focuses on the history of Bratislava. Even today, it appeals to different generations and attracts dozens of people interested in studying this profession every year.






In the 2024/2025 school year, 20 graduates successfully completed the course. Five students achieved exceptional results. They received only units in the theoretical exams and more than 80 points in the practical part, thanks to which they completed their studies with a red diploma.
The one-year, two-semester study, consisting of 360 teaching hours, consists of a theoretical part in the form of professional lectures and a practical part. The comprehensive study maps Bratislava from its inception to the present day, and deals in detail with architecture, teaching and the theory of tourism, inclusive tourism, and accompanying children.

Bohuslava Bublincová in the Hall of Fame
Part of the final graduation ceremony is the recognition of the long-term work of the guides for their professional contribution, educational activities, as well as building a positive public relationship with the capital. Halls of Fame – BKIS Tourism Guide This year, Bohuslava Bublincová, who worked in the BIS (Bratislava Information Service) in the local history department from 1970 to 1995, joined. She also guided and organized local history walks around Bratislava and tours for the Circle of Friends of Bratislava.
