A date with the city: How love moved mountains in Bratislava

May is the month of love and it has been part of our lives since time immemorial. And as the saying goes: “it even moves mountains”. In Bratislava, there is no talk of any mountains being moved, but we do have a church tower built by the knight Kristián out of love, we also have a black lady who lost her soul because of love, and many famous artists and personalities lived here who were motivated to work by love. Although it may not seem like it to us, love is hidden behind every wall in our city. We will choose just a few of these stories on our walk. While telling them, we will gain a glimpse into the world of music, architecture, history and of course legends and fairy tales. And what would it be without a real knightly tournament! The swords will be wooden, and we have “safe” tasks prepared for little knights, but also brave knights. All you have to do is come to the parade with them. We look forward to seeing you!

The walk is suitable for children ideally aged 5 to 10.
