A Date with the City: Stories of Salvatore's Pharmacy and Her Siblings

Come with us to visit the interior of the famous historic Salvator pharmacy. In addition to this exceptional interior, on a walk with an excellent guide, Pavol Šimove, you will learn, for example, what dried snakes were once used for, right on the streets of Bratislava.

You will also understand the role the Salvator pharmacy played in the cultural history of Bratislava, and how the Vatican archives are related to the history of pharmacy in Bratislava.

We will also talk about the competition between pharmacies in our city centuries ago and what itinerant pharmacists did here.
