A date with the city: Emil Belluš - an icon of functionalist architecture in Slovakia

Emil Belluš became an icon of Slovak functionalist architecture…and not only that. He was at the birth of architectural education in Slovakia, he was a passionate rower, but also a secret scenographer. It is difficult to find an area in his architectural work that he did not devote himself to. He built apartment buildings, dormitories, banks, technical and sacral buildings. Their quality is also evidenced by the fact that most of them still serve their purpose today.
