In ancient times, theatre was performed exclusively by men, even in female roles. Actors played in animal masks and, to be taller and more visible, wore shoes with thick soles… A lot of water has flowed down the Danube since then, but the theatre is still here. Some theatre venues in our city have long since disappeared, but we still have many of them.
