Summer cinema at the House of Music: recording from the National Opera in Paris Giacomo Puccini – La Bohème

Experience a unique opera evening under the stars through a recording of the production Bohemia z Paris National Opera, presented as part of its Opéra d'Été program.

One of the most famous operas Giacomo Puccini tells the touching love story of the young poet Rodolfo and the tender Mimi. Their fate is accompanied by emotions, hope and loss, which are enhanced by Puccini's beautiful music full of unforgettable arias.

Director Claus Guth brings an original treatment of this classic work. The story is set in space and creates a world in which the past emerges in the form of hallucinatory flashes. The result is a visually and musically captivating production that offers a new perspective on one of the most beloved operas in the world repertoire.

The screening is held in collaboration with French Institute in Slovakia, coordinator program "Summer Opera 2026" in Bratislava.
