A unique project by photographer Gabriela Teplická and the mobile hospice Most domov documents the accompaniment of dying patients and their loved ones in the home environment.

As part of the third year of the MOMENT awareness project, we have prepared the following program:

  • 15:30 Guided tour with the author of the exhibition.

  • 16:00 Discussion about life, dying, death and grief with the doctor of the hospice Mudr. Hajster Vozárová, the director of the Facility for Seniors in Trnava Anna Menkynová and the sociologist, forecaster and publicist Fedor Gál.

  • 18:00 Benefit concert by Martin Geišberg

When confronted with death, we are filled with concerns, fear, a sense of uncertainty, polemics about the meaning of life, but also the power of love and closeness. The project "MOMENT: The Touch of Death" materializes these emotions, the power of the moment and makes us aware of leaving this world through documentary photography. The exhibition provides a space to discuss these topics openly, directly, with respect and kindness.

The event was created with the support of the Bratislava City Hall, the Bratislava Cultural and Information Center (BKIS) and the League against Cancer.
