The tour will take place at Bratislava Castle, where the Slovak National Museum – Historical Museum is located. Its permanent exhibition History of Slovakia presents us with the most precious treasures of prehistory and unique monuments of the Middle Ages from the entire territory of Slovakia. You will learn interesting information about the way of life of people in our region from prehistory to the Middle Ages, see the most interesting artifacts and stories of their discovery. For example, the Moravian Venus has two stories! One about its origin and the other about its discovery. Over 25 thousand years have passed between them, and during that time fascinating changes have occurred in the way of life of the inhabitants of our region. We will travel through history through the Great Moravian Empire to medieval Hungary, interwoven with Christianity, wars, but also crafts and urban privileges.

The SNM–Historical Museum has adjusted the entrance fee for all registered participants of this tour to a single amount of €5. Tickets must be purchased before the start of the tour at the SNM–HM box office.
