Date with the City: Holiday Lights in Bratislava

On a historical walk, we will learn about the symbolism and meaning of light during this period. The tradition of holiday lights in Bratislava. In addition, we will learn about the history of street lighting in our city. We will show examples of different types of lamps and also the architectural design of lamps and lampposts from the Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, Classicism, Art Nouveau, Romanticism to modern contemporary lamps. Join us! Make a date with the city and the magical atmosphere that is inherent to this period.

The walking route is barrier-free. There are stairs near St. Martin's Cathedral. We will move through the streets and squares of the historic center.
