A date with the city: Deep Road and its surroundings

We will walk along Hlboka cesta and its surroundings. In the past, it formed part of the outer border of the city. Vineyards were also grown here, but it also had the character of wild nature. Over time, it became an exclusive address. At the end of the monarchy, romantic villas, entertainment and health care facilities were built here. We will also show you the spiritual and mystical place of Bratislava's Lourdes Cave. Construction development continued here even during the First Republic and was not stopped even by the war period. This district has been changing continuously until today. We will imagine houses and villas, the stories of their inhabitants and architects, which map the turbulent 20th century but also the modern present.
