A date with the city: The National Revival in Prešporek is born

180 years ago, in 1844, students of Ľudovít Štúr resolutely protested against his dismissal from the lyceum in Prešpork. They were led to this by the efforts that Anton Bernolák began at the end of the 18th century. At that time, they had no idea that Ľudovít Štúr, barely 40 years old, would die in 12 years. Their efforts of over 100 years were completed by Milan Rastislav Štefánik. During the 90-minute tour, guide Katarína Králiková will introduce you to the National Revival born in Prešpork through the stories of its main protagonists.

The walking route is barrier-free.
