A date with the city for the Deaf: Coronation Bratislava

The coronation period was the most famous period for Bratislava, lasting almost 300 years and leaving an indelible mark. On our coronation walk you will find out why Bratislava became a coronation city, where and how the coronations themselves took place, or even what is included in the coronation insignia. You will learn how many coronations Bratislava has experienced, what important event of the coronation festivities took place in the Franciscan Church, or which most important monarchs were crowned here. This historical time left a permanent mark on the face of Bratislava, which makes it a unique destination for history and culture lovers. Guide Iveta Šimove will lead you along the traces of the coronations.
