Every decent city has its ghosts, ghouls, good and evil spirits, white
and black ladies, devils and witches, ghosts, monsters and other wonders.
Ours is no exception. Once upon a time, it was teeming with them here. White ladies cleaned almost every house, the ghosts of old men kept an eye on the safety of the residents, ghosts of chariots raced through the streets, and black ladies wailed.

And the most famous ghost of all burned his palm into the maid's ironing board so that no one would doubt him. Today, you can only meet them exceptionally, at a time when everything is quiet and your minds are open.
