Date with the city: Alojz Rigele and Bratislava

A talent that is rarely born. At the age of ten, he exhibited his sculptural works in the window of a bookstore at Michalská 4. Later, Ján Fadrusz, a renowned sculptor of the 19th century, also expressed his appreciation. Despite several lucrative offers he received abroad, he returned to Bratislava with his family in 1907, and remained faithful to it until the end of his life.
