Cultural Summer 2021 Program

The largest city festival, Cultural Summer 2021, brought high-quality and sustainable projects on several larger and smaller stages. A multi-genre program offering – concerts, discussions, exhibitions, readings, cinema, theater, children's programs, simply an offer that will delight all age categories of viewers. The festival aimed to encourage visitors to explore the city as a whole. Therefore, the program of the 46th year was not only in the historic city center, but also in less usual places, newly discovered public spaces, or in city districts.

The main dramaturg of the festival was the Bratislava Cultural and Information Centre (BKIS), which offered a significant space for supporting civic activities, communities, but also key cultural projects that have long been connected to the capital city. In addition to cooperation and non-financial support for projects, BKIS also prepared its own events on various stages as part of the Cultural Summer. There was also a popular cycle of thematic guided walks around the city for adults and families with children, called Rande s mestom.
