every Tuesday and Thursday (17:00 p.m. 19: 15)

The mission of the specialized guide course is not only to provide in-depth information about the history and monuments of Bratislava, but also to create a confidential relationship between the guide and the city, going beyond the boundaries of a regular profession.

The traditional guide course was established more than 60 years ago. Its beginnings are associated with the names of such personalities as the master of Bratislava guides, the legendary Vladimír Plicka. Since then, the course has trained many excellent guides.

He became a lecturer of the Tourism Guide course in 2011 and its leader since 2019. He focuses on natives, important visits, music and hotels. Since 2018 he has been an external employee of BKIS.

He became a lecturer for the Tourism Guide course in 2020 and his domain is the monuments of Bratislava. He is interested in history, culture, architecture, and art.

The Bratislava Cultural and Information Center inducts lecturers and guides into the Hall of Fame for their many years of professional and lecturing activity in the BKIS Tourist Guide course, for popularizing the history of the city and building a positive public relationship with contemporary Bratislava.
