A date with the city: Works by sculptor Jozef Pospíšil

Sculptor Jozef Pospíšil (1897 – 1976) lived most of his life in Bratislava. However, his works can be found all over Slovakia. He created each bust, statue, relief or monument under turbulent circumstances. Sometimes they were related to events in the republic, sometimes to the tense situation between artists. During the tour, we will also remember important figures from our history. The works of sculptor Jozef Pospíšil, which adorn the historical core of Bratislava, will be introduced to you by guide Katarína Králiková.

The walking route leads through the streets of the historic center of Bratislava and is barrier-free.
