A date with the city for people with physical disabilities: Salon of the Republic

About the tour:

An exhibition of architectural works by the best architects after the establishment of Czechoslovakia. While the Czechs have their “Salon of the Republic” in Hradec Králové, for us it is clearly (but not only) Bratislava’s SNP Square. Behind the names of architects from this period, who not only made the square, but also the entire Bratislava a modern Slovak metropolis, often hide turbulent, even tragic destinies. However, architects from before the establishment of Czechoslovakia also left their mark here, and so the square mixes various influences from different periods, which gives it a special charm.
