Experience an exceptional return to the times of the mighty Roman Empire right at the site of the Roman military camp, part of the northern border of the Roman Empire.
The festival will take you back to the authentic atmosphere of ancient times with its annual program, workshops, films and lectures. Ancient Gerulata, one of the venues of the Roman Games festival, has been listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2021 as the only Bratislava site forming part of the Border of the Roman Empire – the Danube Limes.
The one-day event with a touch of history takes place at several locations in the village of Rusovce. During the festival, the Rusovce Town District and the Antique Gerulata Museum come to life again - the streets will be filled with Roman soldiers, craft stalls, horse-drawn carriages, demonstrations of battles and period activities for children.
During the festival, you can also get to know Rusovce and its history through thematic walks called "Rande s mestom".
