A date with the city for the visually impaired and blind: Zuckermandel – a contrast of history and the modern city

We cordially invite you to another walk, A Date with the City for the Blind and Visually Impaired - Zuckermandel - a contrast of history and a modern city.
The excellent guide Andrea Turanská will tell you the story of Zuckermand, which was founded in the 16th century as an independent settlement and today only a torso remains of this historical part, but it is all the more magical.
Here we will meet the legendary Messerschmidt and his grimacing heads, the story of our Jewish community will draw us into the 18th century and the Second World War, the fates of the houses under the castle will bring us closer to the period of post-war development in Bratislava... It will be a very varied story.
Get ready for a journey into history, where we will walk up a few stairs. Literally. So think about suitable footwear. We look forward to seeing you!
Date and time: October 18, 2023, Wednesday, at 2:00 PM
