A date with the city for the blind and visually impaired: Bratislava Ball yesterday and today
About the walk:
Why did street carnival parades gradually disappear in Prešpork and were replaced by dozens of balls? What carnival masks did King Matthias Corvinus wear and what dress code should be followed today? What customs did the guilds have, how did the city's nobility celebrate, and what faux pas did our contemporary celebrities manage with charm? You will learn all this on the route from the former Museum café to the historic building of the Slovak National Theatre, at the places where the most joyful time of the year is celebrated - carnival.
