A Date with the City: Secrets and Treasures of Sandberg

Thirdly, all the best! We believe that the bad weather will not spoil our plans again and we will try to realize the long-postponed expedition to Sandberg! It is exceptional and energizing in every season. Its surroundings are home to exceptional plants and animals, the rocks contain clues from the times when this area was still under water, and indescribable views await us to the west.
During the tour, we will talk about how it is possible that such rare plant species that grow nowhere else in Slovakia can be found in Bratislava. We will also explain the role that goats play in their lives. We will talk in a playful way about what is so rare about Sandberg, why it is a protected area, and how to behave there.
We will walk from Sandberg to Waitov lom, where we will end our tour with shepherd Peťa and his herd. The young goats that will be waiting for us there are already a little older, but petting them is an experience anyway.

Easy hiking - we recommend wearing sturdy sports shoes and taking a small snack for the children.
