Government offices, small shops and schools are closed on national and public holidays. Most of the large shopping centres remain open during the holidays. Some museums and galleries are also open - more information at

Bratislava Cultural Information Centres are open during holidays with Sunday opening hours, but closed on 1st January, Easter Monday and 24th - 26th December.
