We recommend you report a lost, stolen or found animal to Animal Welfare (Sloboda zvierat) from 7am to 7 pm, Polianky 8, telephone 02/16 187.

ANIMALS ON PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Travellers may carry small domestic and other animals with them as hand luggage, provided they are kept in a cage, basket or other appropriate travelling box with sealed bottom, and so long as their transport is not a nuisance to other passengers. Only dogs are allowed in vehicles without travelling boxes. Travellers with dogs outside travelling boxes may enter the vehicle only with the consent of the driver.
The transport authority may exclude the transport of animals on some lines or in some vehicles, though this does not apply to guide dogs.
When transporting an animal, the traveller must mark an additional standard priced ticket for the animal, or purchase a combination ticket for 1 person plus dog.
