This late Baroque summer palace was built in the 1760s for Count Anton Grassalkovich. The palace is decorated with marvellous rococo and classicist frescoes. The main hall, with rich gilt stucco décor and partly original wainscoting, served in the past as a music hall. The world-renowned composer Joseph Haydn gave concerts here as well. One can admire the unique sculptural embellishments on one of the most beautiful staircases in Bratislava. Along with the palace, the palace French-style garden is also open to the public. Known today as the Presidential Palace, today it is the seat of the President of the Slovak Republic.
