The Summer of Culture Bratislava – that’s already well-profiled festival whose events are well recognized. It joins us with summer Bratislava and great feeling which is brought by music, film, theatre on squares or open-air places of our city. Thirty-sixth volume of festival, which we are currently opening, means for us a piece of cultural history too – well many genre cycles are connected to our youth and we can still feel its nonrecurring atmosphere.
And therefore I’m glad that Slovak metropolis is still open to new offers which every year enrich the festival by new original projects. Municipality and main dramaturge – city organization Bratislava Culture and Information Centre – prepared also for this year vast multi-genre program with ambition to address visitors of all age groups.
I’m happy that Bratislava supports the biggest festival in the city and its well-earned publicity. I believe that each of us will find in forthcoming three months events that will gratify and sweeten the summer time in our city, Bratislava.
