Let’s celebrate already the 30th anniversary of this important day for international cooperation. BKIS has prepared several interesting events aimed on history and the present times of our city. Entrance to all events is free of charge!

Walking tour through historical city centre
Meeting point: Tourist information centre BKIS, Klobučnícka ul. 2
Duration of the tour: 1,5 hour
You will learn many interesting facts from the history and present days of city and you will be able to admire magnificent architecture of palaces, burgher’s houses and sacral buildings.
Approximate route: Primatial Square – Old Town Hall - Main Square - Franciscan Square – Biela Street - Michalská Street - Ventúrska Street - Panská Street – St. Martin’s Cathedral

MILITARY CEMETERY IN PETRŽALKA
Walking tour to Bratislava’s surroundings
Meeting point: last underbridge on Kopčianska Street (behind the police station)
Connection: Bus line Nr. 80, rote Kollárovo Sq. – Kopčany and then on foot towards Kittsee.
Duration of the tour: 1,5 hour
We will visit cemetery from the first World War period with 331 buried soldiers and military bunkers which were part of the military fortification of first Czechoslovak Republic.

Why was Prešporok attractive in the past?
City was established on crossroads of important commercial routes. Busy commercial intercourse was the base for development of Prešporok and its visit rate. Its substantial factors were geographical location, religion and political life.
