TOMMY EMMANUEL

During his world tour will on 21.11.2009 at 20.00, in the great chamber of Istropolis in Bratislava perform the world´s best guitar player Tommy Emmanuel.
He performed with hundreds of musical legends including Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder, Sting, Chet Atkins, Eric Clapton, Sir George Martin, Joe Walsh and many, many more.
His music and life are legendary over the world. This Australian artist began playng guitar at ages 4, by learning to play by ear without any formal instruction. By the ages of six Tommy was already working as a profesional musician.
Two – time Grammy nominee Tommy Emmanuel has a professional career that spans over four decades and continues to intersect with some of the finest musicians throughout the world. Tommy´s unique style – called simply „finger style“ – is akin to playing guitar the way a pianist play piano, using all ten fingers. He always delivers exceptional show no mater if the genre is folk, rock, pop or blues.
