Folklore ensemble Szőttes presents the folklore of Hungarians living in Slovakia.
It was founded in 1969 and their first performance took place a year later. Since then the members have prepared more than 15 full-length programs presenting traditional Hungarian culture and folklore. Their performances are beloved in southern Slovakia but they use to play on big nation-wide concerts and festivals. They have played several times abroad, mainly in Hungary, Austria, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Venezuela and Swiss. Ensemble consists of dance and music element, but they also work with children in a independent ensemble Apró Szőttes .

Ensemble presents the folklore of traditional Croatian enclave living in Slovakia.
It has been founded in 80’s and it has helped to preserve traditional culture and develop activities of the Croatian minority. They have made dozens of performances in Croatia as well as abroad, mainly in countries with Croatian minorities. Repertoire is made of ancient songs which have been brought from old homeland as well as of newer songs acquired in past few years. The current art director is Otto Gregor.

Ensemble presenting the the life of the Carpathian Germans minority living in Slovakia. Currently they perform mostly at home on various sows and festivals – mainly organized by Carpathian German Union in Slovakia. Through past ten years they have performed in Germany, Denmark, Romania and Czech Republic. Their repertoire includes songs in German and Slovak language as well as songs in original so called dialect cachy. Their garbs are made according original clothing worn in the beginning of 19th century on feast-days

Ensemble presents music and dance Romas from Central Slovakia. They try to preserve traditional Gypsy songs and play sensitive as well as fast songs. Members are also active in cultural-education association Láčho Drom. Their most widely-known project is festival of Gypsy music BalvalFest. Janka Sendreiová has the honour to represent the culture of Gypsies living in Slovakia at Carnegie Hall in New York.

Ensemble Kurovčan presents authentic folklore of Ruthenians living in Slovakia. Several generations of dancers and singers from village Kurov have performed
in the ensemble over 40 years of its existence. They have prepared for audience at home and abroad programs like Pastyrske Rusľa, Velikodne hyškaňa, Paliňa smertky, Piščana, Lamančak, Chodžiňa z Viflejemom. Their current repertoire consists of habits of Ruthenians living in Slovakia. Prominent Slovak ethnologist Mikuláš Mušinka, native from Kurovo, cooperates with the ensemble for several years.
