Mendelssohn in Pálffy palace

Moyzes Quartet, chamber ensemble of Skalica city, comes after successful series of concerts of Moyzes in Moyzeska, Bella in Moyzeska and Suchoň in Pálffy palace with new cycle of of concerts - Mendelssohn in Pálffy palace.
Visitors of concerts will become familiar with chamber works of Felix

Mendelssohn Bartholdy, whose 200th birthday anniversary is celebrated this year. Concerts will be enriched with works of Slovak authors – Iris Szeghy, Ivan Hrušovský and Ladislav Kupkovič. Guests of the Moyzes Quartet will be young Slovak artists – clarinetists Jozef Eliáš, Branislav Dugovič, Jozef Luptáčik, Ronald Šebesta, prominent Slovak pianist Daniela Varínská and Slovak Quartet.
The Quartet will perform concerts during four month on chosen Wednesdays always at 19:00. Opening concert is scheduled on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 in Pállfy palace on Zámocká Street in Bratislava, next concert will take place on October 21 in concert hall Dvorana on Zochová Street in Bratislava, next concerts are scheduled on November 18 and December 9, 2009 in Pállfy palace on Zámocká Street in Bratislava.
