Band Ryu-Oh-Ryu Yagura Taiko will perform shi-shi-mai (Japanese lion dance). Dance comes from China and it got to Japan several centuries ago where developed into specific form. The lion is in various regions performed by 2-3 people. Dance is performed in the beats of taiko drums and should ensure prosperity and rich harvest. In Japan is believed that bite of lion will bring back good health. Dancers with the lion mask bring you joy, fun and good luck too. And therefore come and join us and let the Japanese lion bite you!

Performance of ensemble Shigou Bou-No-Te is related with traditional Japanese art Bou-no-te, which is closely concerned with martial arts which are related to Shintoist sanctuaries (dances on the fight topic). It’s decided as a very important aspect of folk culture in prefectship Aichi. Originaly practiced by peasants since the end of Muromachi period (450 years ago).
