CELEBRATIONS OF ST. LAWRENCE, THE PATRON OF COOKS AND CONFECTIONERS

Basic time schedule:

10,00 – Start of the celebration - welcoming of the participants
10.20 – Procession of cooks and confectioners through the city centre
11.50 – arrival of cooks for the food preparation presentation
12.30 – start of the gingerbread preparation presentation
12.40 – start of the meals presentation joined with its
12.40 – tasting of the chocolate Zeus Braun
13.00 – gingerbread decoration competition of the youngest visitors  
17.00 – end of celebrations

expected route of the procession:
Hlavné námestie, Sedlárska, Michalská brána, Suché Mýto, Hodžovo námestie, Poštová , Námestie SNP, Laurinská, Hlavné námestie

Cooks will walk dressed in cooks uniform including white hat.

Presentation of meals:

-   grilling of chicken meat of various shapes
-   fish specialties
-   grilling of vegetables
-   preparation of crock pot goulash
-   presentation of gingerbread production
-   presentation of foodstuff of NOWACO company used for meals and side dish preparation
-   presentation of foodstuff of Bonduelle company used for meals and side dish preparation
-   presentation of foodstuff of Nestlé company used for meals and side dish preparation
-   presentation of foodstuff of LaPrema company used for meals and side dish preparation
-   presentation of TESCOMA company
-   tasting of chocolate, alcohol-free drinks, wines and beers during presentation of meal preparation

Gingerbread production will be represented by Mrs. Mária Muráriková, winner from the Culinary Olympics IKA 2008 Erfurt
