PORQUE TANGO

„Porque Tango" can be translated in two ways – both as a question and as an answer. Por( )que tango means „why tango" and also „because tango"... „Why" does the Por que Tango band play tango? – „because it is the tango! The passionate and noble music coming from the suburbs of Buenos Aires!
Porque Tango was created in Bratislava. Its members are experienced musicians with diverse musical background and with passion for latinoamerican music. Porque Tango plays in an instrumental formation typical for the Argentinian tango – bandoneón, violin, piano and double-bass. As an important part of the band, a guest singers often perform with Porque Tango, namely Lucia Siposová, Zdenka Trvalcová and Lasaro de Jesús Hodelin Thomas.
