Summer is already here and this is the only one power that can switch-off for a while otherwise never quenched TV screens. Summer can force their programs to switch them over to summer selection that is a little bit drowsy and reprised. The reason why is quite simple - to turn our domestic spectators into the summer time to allow them to become permanent visitors and co-performers at a great scene of the Cultural Summer.

Welcome to the Cultural Summer and Castle Festival Bratislava 2007.

Cultural summer changes feelings and spirits there, where the culture will reach you, changes attributes of well-worn, accustomed routes, streets and squares. Its route will lead you via Blues Street, Jazz Town Hall, Celtic Square, around Dancing Courtyards, Gospel Park up to with ethno-sounded Iron Well. Stage plays are rambling alongside with you on the road from the castle walls down through the Old Town, concert tones from the Water Tower will catch you up on your walk along the river on the Danube quay, squares will snag you into a     spider-web full of chansons, as well as serious music. Seriously, and also without respect will reside in you and will continue in the concert sounds accompanying your steps on the way back to your home.

Cultural Summer is friend of art and fairly-minded „player“, accords equal rights to great and „rich“ projects, standing face to face towards public auditorium, giving equal chance also to those small ones and less rich. Summer changes production formula – the spectator is here, in the streets – on the stages of the city, it is enough just to „put a word, to speak to“. During next three months of the summer time we shall continue in our endeavour persistently and not less than 220 times.
