Echo

The Youth Choir was estabilished in 1987, formed by the old members of the Bratislava Children's Choir. It was founded by its conductor and artistic director Ondrej Šaray. The members of the choir are students from high schools and universities. The repertoire of Echo consists of works from all periods from the renesaince to contemporary music. The works of Slovak composers are a special part of the repertoire. Many of them were dedicated especially to Echo. The choir regularly performs concerts at home as well as abroad. It has performed in twelve European countries and has been a frequent guest in recording studios. Echo has cooperated in several projects with the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra, Slovak Chamber Orchestra of Bohdan Warchal, Capella Istropolitana, Musica Aeterna and Ladies' Chamber Orchestra.
